To create a Pinterest account you have to either have a Google Account, Facebook Account or a Twitter Account.
Then Pinterest will send a confirmation letter to your email in less than a day. Signing up for a Pinterest account they will ask you to create a username and password. Your username must be good and must not contain any punctuation mark.
Next go to your email Inbox and look for the confirmation message that Pinterest have sent you. It should contain a confirmation link that you must click on and go back to Pinterest.com and finish signing up.
